We are a weekly seasonal community farmers’ market bringing food, fun, and folks together for all the fellowship and familial southern vibes.
OVERVIEW
The Black Farmers' Market, was founded in 2022 by the black clergy collaborative of memphis. we are located in the urban core of the historic south memphis neighborhood, adjacent to the historic Lemoyne-Owen college, stax Museum, and on the parking lot of the historic Pilgrim’s Rest Church.
The seasonal weekly community market brings together farmers, growers, foodpreneurs, artisans, and makers to serve as an outlet for selling locally grown produce, dairy, farm raised meats, baked goods, prepared foods, handmade goods, and more directly to the public and strengthening the local food system and economy.
OUR MISSION
to curate an inclusive venue and marketplace in a food dessert that needs and deserves equitable access to food, fun, folks, and fellowship.
